Since its beginning in 1977, the Göteborg Horse Show has attracted over 2 million visitors. This four day event is comprised of the FEI World Cup series, along with mounted games, dog and pony shows, and the EuroHorse – Scandinavia’s biggest equestrian fair. Featured events include: the FEI World Cup Jumping, Dressage and Driving, the Göteborg Trophy Grand Prix, and the young riders competition.
Equestrian, one of the biggest sports in Sweden, draws a young and enthusiastic crowd. The Göteborg Horse Show is not only one of the most prestigious events among elite international riders, but was also named the best indoor horse show in the world and considered the 3rd most important venue for riders, after the Olympics and The World Equestrian Games.
